The Lakehead Boat Basin offers 30 RV parking sites. Twelve of the sites offer full hookup including water, electric, and sewer. These sites are located immediately to the right as you enter into the gated area. These sites overlook the main front dockage area of the marina. The other eighteen sites are located to the left and behind the building. These sites overlook the Duluth hills, marina and the famous Aerial Lift Bridge. All locations are on blacktop (area used for boat storage in the winter). The location of the marina is close to downtown (10 blocks) and the Canal Park Area (3 blocks) allowing you to leave your vehicle and tour many sites by foot. The Marine Museum located in Canal Park is the most visited tourist attraction in Minnesota. The marina is the best area to view the July 4th fireworks and closest RV area to the Bayfront Park (10 blocks) which hosts the Blues Festival (August) plus many other outdoor concerts. HINT: make reservations early! The choice of electrical service ranges from 15 to 50 amp. There are bathrooms, showers, as well as a washer and dryer available on site. Sewer dump is also available.
